The review screen is the product. Here is how to use it

Sitting the mock is training. Reviewing it is where the marks come from. We can see, across many candidates, that the review screen is the difference between people who improve between sittings and people who sit the same exam twice.

Why you only see what you missed

Your review shows the questions you got wrong, not the whole paper. That is deliberate. Rereading forty questions you answered correctly is a comfortable way to spend an evening learning nothing, and comfort is the enemy of a review pass. Every minute on that screen is pointed at a mark you did not get.

The three piles

Take your misses one at a time and put each into one of three piles.

Knew it, misread it. You understood the law and answered a different question than the one asked. Usually an "except" or a "not", or an option that is true but unresponsive. These are technique marks, and the fix is a reading habit, not study.

Half knew it. You narrowed it to two and picked wrong. This is the most valuable pile, because you are one distinction away, not one subject away. Write the distinction down, in one sentence, somewhere you will see it again.

Did not know it. The rule itself was missing. This pile becomes your study list, and note which area each one belongs to, because a pile that clusters in one area is a chapter problem, not a fact problem.

The tag that outranks everything

If a question carries the marker that you missed it on your previous sitting too, it goes to the front of the queue regardless of its pile. Missing something twice, weeks apart, means whatever you did about it the first time did not work. Do something different: different source, different note, explain it out loud to someone.

What unlocks, and when

At or above our 55% threshold, each missed question shows the correct answer and a full explanation of why it is right and why the tempting wrong answer is wrong. Below it, you still see every question you missed and where it belongs, so you always know where to go back. That number is our own threshold and nothing more; the Law Society does not publish a passing score, and nothing on our platform is a claim about one.
