A third mostly measures memory, since you have already seen the questions. Want a genuinely fresh test? A different mock or quiz has new questions.

No. Every question is original, created in-house by LexPD to entry-level standards and reviewed by our tutors. We never use, reproduce, or paraphrase actual examination content, which protects you as much as us.

160 multiple-choice questions per paper, over four hours and thirty minutes. There are two papers, Barrister and Solicitor, written on separate days. Every question has four options and one best answer, with no all-of-the-above or none-of-the-above. Questions are grouped by area of law, and some share a fact pattern while still answering independently.

Yes, but print only. No digital access is allowed in the testing area, so what you cannot find quickly on paper, you cannot use. That is why a good index matters. We publish the LexPD index for both streams, or Barrister or Solicitor on their own.

One point per correct answer, with no penalty for a wrong or blank one, so always answer. The pass mark is a single overall score; you do not have to pass each section separately. A few items on each paper are unscored experimental ones, indistinguishable from the rest.
