Frequently asked questions.
How do I access my exam after purchasing?
Sign in at app.ontariobarexam.com using the same email address you entered at checkout— that’s how your purchase finds you. You can sign in with Google or request a one-time email link; there’s no password to create. Your exam appears on your dashboard, usually within a minute of purchase.
I signed in but my exam isn't there.
Nine times out of ten, the sign-in email doesn't match the checkout email. Double-check which address you used at checkout, sign in with that one, and refresh. Still missing? Contact us — we can locate your order and attach it to the right account in minutes.
I have LSO-granted testing accommodations. Can my timer match?
Yes. If the Law Society has granted you accommodations such as additional time, contact us after purchase and before starting your exam, and we'll adjust your account so practice reflects your real testing conditions. No documentation hassle, no extra charge.
Are the timed conditions realistic?
The full mock exams run 160 questions over 4.5 hours on a server-kept timer, with questions organized into topic sections at realistic weightings. Subject practice quizzes are deliberately untimed — they're for focused study, not simulation.
What do I get when I finish?
Instant scoring, then a diagnostic report: your performance broken down by lawyering competency and by area of law, compared against the average of other candidates who wrote the same exam, plus a review of the questions you got wrong with explanations. The platform also flags patterns across your answers and suggests what to restudy first.
Can I share my account with a study partner?
No — access is personal and tied to your email. Accounts showing signs of sharing may be restricted. If your study group each need access, each person needs their own purchase (and each gets their own reports, which is rather the point).
Are these real LSO exam questions?
No. Every question is original, written by LexPD to entry-level competency standards. We never use, reproduce, or paraphrase actual examination content — that protects you as much as us.
Is OntarioBarExam.com affiliated with the Law Society of Ontario?
No. OntarioBarExam.com is an independent exam-preparation service operated by LexPD and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Law Society of Ontario. “Ontario Bar Exam” is used descriptively.
