Nobody runs a marathon without training for it.

Each of these papers is 160 questions sat over four and a half hours, and for most candidates exam day is the first time they have ever worked at that length without stopping. Focus over that distance is not a personality trait. It is a trained capacity, built by doing the thing at full length, under the clock, more than once. Reading builds knowledge. Only sitting the papers builds endurance, which is the argument for sitting more than one.

A licensing result gives you a pass or a fail and almost nothing about why. Our reporting engine was built to answer the questions that actually matter while there is still time to act.

• What to work on first. Every report opens with a ranked study list, not a score breakdown. Findings are ordered by the marks actually at stake on your paper and how strongly the evidence supports them, so the top of the list is the cheapest place to buy marks, not just your lowest percentage.
• Two dimensions, and the cross-section between them. Your answers charted by lawyering competency (Knowledge of the Law, Ethical and Professional Responsibilities, and more) and separately by area of law, plus the cross-section between them. Not just “Civil Litigation is weak” but “your Civil Litigation losses cluster in problem and issue identification”. That narrows a subject to a skill.
• The marks you can't find on your own. The questions you answered quickly, did not flag, and got wrong. You cannot find these by reviewing, because you were sure. They are also the fastest marks to recover: you do not need new material, you need to correct an idea you already hold.
• Technique no book can measure. We time every answer, so we can show you where your accuracy gives out across the 4.5 hours, whether your pacing holds, whether your flagging is a reliable instrument or noise, and whether changing answers helps you or costs you.
• Weighted by what matters. Each category shows its share of the exam, so you can tell a weak spot in 40% of the paper from one in 10%.
• Peer comparison, when it means something. Once enough candidates have written the same paper, your report shows how your result compares with the peer average, which is what separates “this section is hard for everyone” from “this one is your gap”. We hold it back until the average rests on enough people to be worth reading, so it grows as candidate data builds.
• It tells you when it does not know. A percentage on five questions is one lucky guess away from meaning something different. Where a category is too small to judge, we name it and say so rather than quietly dropping it or printing a number you would act on.
